Posting to the X3world home page

I just installed a trailer hitch myself the other day and took lots of good pics. It looks like the X3world home page would be a good place to post them but I looked all over and still can not figure out how to post anything there. Do they have to be approved by someone? Anyone know how to do that? Thanks!

Click on "manage attachments" and you should be able to upload your pics. There is a size limit, however, so you'll have to reduce the size to 1400 x 1400 if they're jpg's, and about 190-195 KB (I think).

Make a guide (or how-to... or step-by-step) here on the forums. If the forum gods like it, they will post it on the home page.

Got it JaaX3. I was wondering if that was the "approval" procedure. Thanks.

I just saw your detailed how-to post http://www.x3world.com/x3-e83-forum/...avigation.html

Very nice. That's exactly what I did, but when I ran the calbe, I kept the cable inside the center console. My iPod sits in there now. :2thumbs:

That NAV aux install DIY thread is excellent. Lookng forward to the hitch DIY thread .... I've been waiting to install my aftermarket PDC pending a good DIY on rear bumper removal.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I will have the DIY up on rear bumper removal/hitch install up soon. I can see why these are so scarce as they take a good bit of extra effort! I got some good shots though.

Thanks for effort in putting a DIY together.
