Been wanting to take these off - Finally done

About a month ago I stopped at a red light and looked at the reflexion of my car into a weird kind of mirror. Anyway I noticed these two ugly pads in front of my two front tires wich destroyed the look of the car, it was so unattractive.
This evening I had some free time so I decided I would take them off. It took about 3minutes per pad.
Do any of you have these??

I have them on mine and I kind of like them.......just my opinion though.

Same here I have them and left them on, they don't bother me.

i guess it's all a matter of opinion....Sounds like they were easy enough to take off, and i'm sure they didn't serve any major function, but unless someone is bending down and looking almost at your underbody, I don't see how they're all that visible.

But hey....it's all about personalization, and personal taste.

i have those as well, but haven't taken them off. not sure of their purpose, but they don't bother me and i don't plan on removing them...

I am pretty sure they are some type of mud flap for mud, rocks ect. They are in front of the wheel. There are some at the front of the wheel in the back as well. Geeze............I must be bored

Just looking at the pictures and where it came from, I'm guessing they're there to reduce drag by deflecting air from hitting the tires directly.

It'll be interesting to know if you'll hear some air noises when travelling in high speeds...

I agree, I think they're like air dams or spoilers to reduce drag and improve aerodynamic efficiency. Probably has the most effect at higher speeds.

Thats exactly right. It is to decrease drag from air hitting the tires. and also decrease wind noise. And also cuts down the amount of water hitting the tire when it rains also reducing noise
