I love my X3.
Im was just thinking today how much I love to drive my X3. Every trip is an adventure. The thing is so responsive and handles so well. I do not think I will ever be able to own any other car than a BMW from now on. The X3 was my first. I just had to share that. I know you are the only folks who care.........have a great weekend

nice to hear matt...and we do care
we just took delivery TODAY of our 2006 x3 (also silver grey metallic)....So far it's amazing...we have Nav and Sirius...still trying to figure all that out, but the cars drives beautifully. |
Ahhh don't tease me. ;)
We had so much fun with a borrowed one some weeks ago (long weekend), and now we have to wait until middle of August to get our own. http://static.flickr.com/62/161560930_6d2e1c1f0a_m.jpg http://www.flickr.com/photos/davipt/161560930/ PS: (again) is there any German guys around which can advise us on where to "have fun" with a X3 in Germany (were's living in Düsseldorf)? |
It IS a great car. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Oh yeah, I love mine too... |
The X3 is really quite a great vehicle isn't? We couldn't be happier with ours as well. Although not our first BMW, it not our last either. We've had more than a dozen of them over the last 12 years and BMW just keeps getting better and better.
Peter, you got your X3? Tell us all about it and please posts some pics. |
Damn you guys are making me jealous! I am still about a month away from delivery of my 2006 Sapphire Black Metallic X3. I can't wait to see for myself what you are all talking about!
By the way I've already caught the mod fever. Here is a pretty good website to get accessories for the X3 or any other newer BMW. The prices are a bit off but I think it's still under construction. http://www.shophabberstad.com/bmw-accessories-x3.html Enjoy! Andy |

yep, Rick...we took delivery yesterday....Did a drive out to the beach last night (two hours, light traffic) and she responded great....Still tinkering with the nav settings and figuring out all the finer points, but we love it so far...Looks great, drives great.
it rained today out here (hamptons, on eastern long island) and i wanted to run and and cover her up...but, hey, life intercedes. A couple of questions: -The tool "box" in the back looks pretty sparse...just a couple of screwdrivers...Did we get "screwed"? -where is the caution triangle? I removed the panel on the passenger side and didn't see it -do all x3s come with a medical/first aid kit? -How does one get rid of the 'accept' sign in when the nav system starts up? Is this something i need to do every time i drive it? -I also don't undertand the consumption figures...is that essentialy Miles Per Gallon? Or do you just do the math based on the figures? |
