OMG Check this out!!

So I have a 2006 X3 since feb 24th and tonight I discovered the coolest feature ever. As im walking towards the car I held the unlock button down for a few seconds and the front windows went down, then the rear windows and then the panoramic roof opened. How cool is that?? Then I held the lock button down and it all happened again, it the opposite way.
Honestly I think its so cool.
Try it out!!

I'm surprised your dealer didn't tell you about it when you picked up the car! My 1996 Jetta did that as well. It's a welcome feature in the summer time.

It's a good feature to have when you need it.......my '95 ///M3 had it too.

Mine go down, but not up again. I can only put them back up by putting the key in the lock. Are you saying you just press the lock button on the remote? I wish mine would do that.

The manual is your friend. :)

Mine don't go back up either. That would be great if they did!

I can open them all using my key but they do not close using the key. I think it is a dealer programmable feature.

I thought convenience close wasnt avail in the US. Someone (in the US) tell me if this is false so I can get it programmed.

It's not available in the US... safety reasons. (which translated means "bmw doesn't want to get sued when someone auto closes the windows on someone's neck")

In the U.S. the "close" convenience option is only available by using the key. That's for the X5..I'm not sure if it's the same with the X3 or not.
