Squeaky brakes
 
Anyone have this problem? When i am slowing down to 0mph i hear a slight squeak when i have my windown down i hear it and its quite annoying.

i have 1706 miles on my X3

That also happened to me when the car was new (<1000 miles). It suddenly started after a few hundred miles then went away.

Squeaky brakes are a result of a combination of metal to metal harmonic vibrations...

You can cure this by using a vibration dampening agent...on my Beemer Bikes I ALWAYS, when changing pads, put a small dab of brake caliper grease on the back of the pad that meets the caliper piston..

This in effect acts as a vibration damening agent and works like a charm...!

NOTE DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GET ANY OF THE AGENT NO MATTER WHAT TYPE, BUT SPECIFICALLY THE GREASE ON THE ROTOR OR PAD !..YMMV...

All cars brakes' squeak at some point in time. Try washing the wheels using a high pressure hose.

Mine did/do the same thing. I took it into the dealer to get fixed and got this back: No Abnormal Noise Noted, Some Brake Noise is Normal

Perhaps I will try the car wash idea and see what happens.
