simply and very easy buy a wireless fm modulator, thats what i did took 15 mins to fit and very tidy.....
just wire it to your dvd player, and it omits a wirless fm signal that you pick up on your radio, tune it in and away you go.you get full cyrstal clear sound thru all speakers that you can control thru your exsisting radio controls....:nanana:

Don't go for an FM modulator. Get an FM transmitter. Much better quality. A few legal issues though, but don't worry about those.

I had the modulator first and got engine noise etc etc. With the transmitter (frequency is fully adjustable throughout a wide range), much better quality - crystal clear, in fact.

This is the one a bought -

I use one of these for my MP3 player (non i-pod) and it works quite well - though I admit living in a larger metro area I often get static and stations coming in at times, mine hates power lines and other things like that (go figure). Still, I have it plugged into the 12-volt receptacle in the back and have an extension running it forward to my mp3 plaer - nice, neat and tidy and it does work quite well. I tried several brands (Sony, Belkin, etc.) and had the best luck with one I picked up at Costco for about $25. Ultimately I'd still like to do the auxiliary kit install just a little intimidated to pull my dash apart (even though the instructions have been posted here and executed by many). I'm sure that would also work for the dvd player - if you wanted to go that direction as well.

All it needs is a 12V supply and an audio fead from your DVD system (can be tapped from the harness you have mentioned) - dual RCA audio input Right/Left source.
