San Francisco BMW service advisors...
Hi,
I'll likely take my '05 X3 to BMW SF. Any recommendations for a service advisor? Thanks, - Ed. |
From all I have heard you should consider another dealership.

I am at a loss for a good one there also. Diamond Lim was the best, but he left for another position, so I am in the hunt also, and might end up in the East Bay for service.

Stay away from BMW SF! It's totally worth it to go to Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo. I made the mistake of going to BMW SF 3 times (I gave them 2 extra chances after the 1st visit, and they screwed those 2 up!). They are rude, arrogant, and act as if they don't need your business. I worked with 3 different service advisors, and 3 different people in the parts department. San Mateo BMW is the way to go.

No Second Thought.. Peter Pan!!

Any Service Advisor at Peter Pan you can recommend? I need some warranty work done on the trims and am sure that BMW SF will turn them down. TIA.

^ ask Kenny (not sure if it's correct spell or not) he's a cool guy and his brother has 4.8i.
or if you need quick appointment set up (they set me up next day everytime I call there), go down to Stevens Creek BMW and ask Dan Cullinan. tell him WooJin sent you, he's a real nice guy to deal with. |
They work on cars 24 hours!!

Based on a recommendation, I worked w/ Chris Bronstorp at BMWSF. He was very helpful and patient in helping me with a list of issues. In particular, replacing window guides and adjusting a noisy moonroof. Some parts are on order for other things, so I'll need to take the X3 back, but so far so good.

Thank you Wuzin and SilvrX5. The paint on my steering wheel is coming off too. Time for some warranty work on the trims and steering wheel.
