BMW iPod Adapter!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!
 

Justw anted to know what the iPod Adapter that BMW offers looks like if you have a navigation screen. I have an 07' X3. Can someone show me a pic or tell me ASAP!!!! I NEED TO KNOW!!!!

It will look exactly like the screen for cd changer. No playlist, artist name and so on. Just numbers indicating BMW playlist and tracknumber.

I just had the BMW iPod interface installed in my 2006 530i. If it works the same way mine does It works well, providing excellent sound while charging the iPod battery and allowing control via iDrive and the steering wheel buttons, but has some limitations. It can access only 255 items per "folder", so if you have more than 255 playlists, artists, or albums, you can access only the first 255. Second, the iPod clickwheel is disabled when it is plugged into the interface and navigating through a long list is tedious with the iDrive controller. That said, the CEO likes it although i haven't figured out how to get around some of the limitations as of yet.:thumbup:
