I have a 2006, and I already have Xenon Headlights, they are the ones that move when you move the steering wheel, but I would like to change out the rear lights. Please let me know if this is possible. I am terribly afraid to order them myself and then the connector be wrong or not fit.

I did some research based on the size of the 2007 product and it appears that the part that is installed into the gate of the car is a little smaller than the one in 2006 and as such you would have to buy a new gate as well. So you would just need to contact the dealer and order both parts, which could be expensive but would give you the face lift you are looking for.


As for the Xenons though, I have those, totally doable... Love it.

Maybe a simplistic view but why not just trade your car for an 07 and get the facelift, new engine, new suspension, upgraded interior, etc. Sounds like a complete pain in the a** to upgrade yourself.

anyone figure this out, yet? OP did the 07 tail lights fit and how much work/$$ was the headlight swap, if possible at that?

Does anyone else have any info on this? Is there a retro-fit process- and of so, whats the process to retro-fit the 07 tail lights into previous X3 models?
