Ever changed the interior lights

Has anyone ever changed the interior lights?

I.e. Speedometer, Tachometer, Radio etc. basically everything that lights up orange. If so I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

there was discussion about it some time back...if i recall it was impossible or costly and inconvenient to do...

what color were you thinking?

I really like the bright white look that Lexus has.

I've always thought red/orange was easier on the eyes. I swear the Lexus instrument clusters will burn holes in my retinas on any long nighttime highway trip.

To answer your question, it's REALLY complicated, nasty, and I'm sure will take forever.

T.

Red/orange is much much easier on the eyes, thats why they use them in airplane cockpits. White is sappose to make the eyes trier quicker thats why BMW went with red/orange.

Except BMW's gone retarded lately and put white in the new M5, M6 and the Z4 M.

Red/Orange is better for night driving, keep it. If you really want to be shocked, drive a VW at night. It's impossible not to be distracted by the hidious blue lighting

volkswagen's blue is dim but crisp...really annoying

Hey I liked the blue in my Vdub. One time a guy working the drive through at Wendys actually asked me, "hey man how did you trick out your lights like that?" I dont think they get that many German cars that deep in SC.
