Black Specs on Wheels
 

We just got a 2006 X3 and yesterday when I was washing it and cleaning the wheels I noticed some little black specs on the wheels that woulnd't come off. Looks like it is brake dust residue that just won't come off.Has anyone else seen this and know how to get them off?

Try a little Goo-Gone and then a little polish after it's removed. It could be a little road tar or brake dust. Both are not hard to remove. If you don't have Goo-Gone, try a little automotive bug and tar remover.
