5 Gallon Paint Bucket + Wife Following Pickup Truck = Long Day
 

Yesterday my wife was following a truck and a 5 gallon bucket of paint fell out of the back. Fortunately she was able to avoid the bucket (which busted on impact with the road.) Unfortunately she wasn't able to avoid all of the paint that was all over the road. So I spent most all of the day washing the SAV. Thank God it was latex paint! On a positive not the car is probably cleaner than it has been since it rolled off the showroom floor! It's amazing all the crevasses that paint can get into.

My wife is out of town and took our camera with her. I will clean it up agian and post some pic as soon as I get the camera back. I didn't take any before pic because I was to worried about getting the paint off the car as quickly as possible. On the bright side.. her being out of town means that I get to drive the X :)

This was a common occurance when I lived in central Florida--a beatup white F150 PU flying down the road spilling paint, food containers, building debris and nails, staples screws etc--Dirtiest roads I ever seen. Flat tires and chipped paint and glass were a way of life. :rant:
