need answer ASAP
 

I need to know right now if the X3 (nav, prem) has voice control. I hit the voice button, sometimes it dials the limo company, who is angry for me calling 7 times, sometimes is beeps and I say "directory" and it says it's empty...which it's not.
I need an answer ASAP.

Try pushing the voice button and then saying "Help"

IIRC, the Nav is not voice controlled, only some phone options are.

yes, we only want the voice control for phone,

but half the time when we hit the voice control button it calls "Company X" Limo Service, and the other half of the time it beeps, we say phonebook, it says empty. (It's Not!).

as it's noted in that thread, you do have to record the phone book separately as it will not interpret your voice commands to dial the phone numbers saved in your phone. if you haven't recorded anything in your X3's phone book, your phone book *is* empty.

pressing the voice control button briefly (releasing it before you hear the beep) redials the last number dialed on your phone. if that's the last number that was dialed on your phone, that's why you keep getting connected to that limo company.
