2007 BMW X3--Bluetooth Problems

Does anyone have a problem with the Motorola Razr where you are on bluetooth(through the speakers) and you go to disconnect bluetooth via your phone and it keeps trying to reconnect to bluetooth. Very annoying when trying to make a private call and it keeps reconnecting. Any solutions? Is there anyway to disconnect from the car? I do not have NAV.

Is the key in the ON position? Removing the key forces the phone to retain the conversation.

Assign one of the unused buttons on the phone to turn bluetooth on and off. when you want to disconnect simply push the button. This will turn bluetooth on the phone completely off, not simply disconnect it from a bluetooth device.

If its not on it can't reconnect until you turn it back on.

Worked for me on my 06 X3 and my first gen Razr.
