Wierd xenon problem.

Last night I was driving home from Boston and my driver's side xenon went out. The warning came on in the dashboard, too. This morning when I started the car up in the garage, both lights came on just as they should. Then after a few minutes, the driver's side xenon went out again. I turned the lights off in case they turned on without me noticing (I didn't want to be pulled over for having a headlight out). A little while ago I was out driving and the lights were both working fine. They seem to be OK now. Do you have any idea what happened?

hmmmm... a loose or bad connection somewhere? That's about the only thing I can think of that would cause a light to go on and off like that...
