Touch Signalling: Can this be activated?

The feature, Touch Signaling, is referenced in the 2008 and 2007 owner's manual. It says, if TS is activated, a slight press on the turn signal will be followed by three blinks of the left or right turn signal. My 2008 X3 manual references this, as does the 2007 (on line) owners manual.

The dealer says, they've never heard of it.

What is correct?

X3's don't have I-Drive. This is a setting that the dealer has to perform, using their computer. My $tealer did mine after I asked to have it done. They should not charge you for this, as your salesman should have gone over this programmable option before you took delivery of the vehicle.
