remote key/ fob question

I have a 2004 X3. How do you roll down the windows automatically using the remote key?

thanks

After you unlock the whole car, press and hold the unlock button.

Nice, I just tried that and it works. Any other tricks like that?

Just got my 2006 X3 a few weeks ago, and the only thing I saw in the manual was that you could program the key (at the dealership) to do various things.

In other countries, you can hold the Lock button on the key and windows will roll up. This is not permitted on North American models, due to liability reasons (read: litigious society). However, you can put the key into the keyhole, and hold it clockwise in the lock position for a few seconds, and the moonroof/windows will roll up and close. Depending on equipment version, the electric mirrors may also fold in automatically, and unfold when you hit unlock again.

That makes sense; I attemped to roll everything back up remotely to no avail. Good to know I at least don't have to put the key back in the ignition. Very cool.
