NEED TO REMOVE X3 2005 FRONT BUMPER
 

The bottom grills are coming off. I need to know how to remove the front bumper of the X3 in order to fasten the lower grills. Thanks for your help.

you shouldnt have to remove it completely to fasten them...you can probably remove the bolts on the bottom of the bumper (8MM bolts) and the T30 torx bolts behind the 2 outer lower grilles (they pop out towards you) than you can reach behind and fasten it, if not and you do need to remove the bumper, there are bolts 8MM in the wheelwell in front of the wheels, and a T25 or 20 going up into the bumper (behind the fender liner) right where the bumper and fender meet. youd also need to take off the very front air duct (4 T30 bolts) than remove the 3 T30 bolts that hold the top of the bumper right below the air duct intake. if you have headlight washers...you would have to manually pull up the plastic covers and use a small screwdriver to pry them off of the arm.
