Lowering an X3

I just want to ask if there is any lower spring for our X3. If so, which brands have them?

Hi and :xoutpost:
Eibach and somebody else I can't remember make them.

Eibach Springs - Performance Suspension, Lowering Springs, Shocks, Sway Bars, Coil-Overs and Wheel Spacers!

Wouldn't that make it an X2 ?

Ground clearance is the design reason/purpose of an SUV. Why would you want to remove the design intention? That's sort of like lifting a sports car.

To make it look like this... Some people don't need the ground clearance and lowerering makes the X3 look pretty cool. It also decreases the height of the center of gravity for better handling. This is a 2004 with H&R lowering springs.

No hating here, just an honest question. I looked at the link above and it does look better, no doubt. But for better handling and looks, that's the space filled by the 3-series wagon. I'd prefer one of those because I love a well handling car but it's a double duty vehicle for us, primarily the wife's ride and also for snowboard trips, etc. I'm really happy with it overall, don't miss the extra room from the X5 at all (actually downsized from an XC90 - didn't like all that weight to throw around).

See the pics of my X3 with H&R. It improved the ride on highways alot. It can enter and exit turns at ridiculous speeds for a suv...
