warning light question

Need help in turning off exterior light and tire pressure warning lights on a 2004 X3. Thanks

Not sure what you mean by exterior light warning, but perhaps you have a burned out bulb which is crying out for attention.

The tire pressure light requires that you set all tires to the desired pressure, then go through a reset procedure by pressing in the button on the dash with the flat tire symbol (usually in the centre stack, below the HVAC controls). You may not have a problem with the light, but rather with a low tire pressure.

Check all your lights to make sure they are working. It helps to have someone outside since they can check the brake lights for you as well. It's unlikely that the X3 throws a false burnt-out bulb light.

As for your tyres, check the pressures when cold and verify they are all correct. Visually check for any punctures as well. If all is well, push the reinitialise button (!) in the centre console and drive off.http://www.qtl.co.il/img/copy.pnghttp://www.google.com/favicon.icohttp://www.babylon.com/favicon.ico
