Alarm flash in the mirror

I did not order alarm and I believe it was not standard either. But I do have that red bulb in the interior mirror. It also starts to flash about one minute after locking the car it. Is it a fake alarm functionality that the dealer can activate? Or could I actually have alarm installed?

It is just absolutely good to drive.

Beautiful, I love those wheels... what size are they?

RastaGurl 11-27-2005 10:42 AM

It's a dealer activated function that operates regardless of the presence (or absence) of the alarm. With an alarm present, one may also opt to have an audible indication when arming/disarming the alarm.
BTW, sweet ride! Congratulations.

Ditto! These wheels will be the first thing I buy after getting the e90.

Nice looking ride! What color do you call that?

I believe that's Blue Water Metallic and those are nice wheels indeed but I doubt i'll fit the e90.

Those are the std 17" wheels on 3.0 X3. The color is actually silver gray metallic. But depending on lighting conditions it sometimes may look blueish.

The more I drive it the better it feels. Just started to check the car more thoroughly and opened the hood. Noticed the bar that goes above engine...

Congrats on the ride! I have an '05 in the same color. Let me know if you ever get tired of those body colored bumpers and I'll gladly take them off your hands for my plastics ones ;)

Price

I am looking to lease a second X3 or X5.

Does anyone no what the current pricing is?

Simple Question No Answer

We have a number of Members with 2006 X3 what did you pay?

phuksi 12-02-2005 12:59 AM

It was really difficult to get discount where I bought mine. There is demand, no inventory. Basically only rounding the number down but not reducing it is what I would call it. I don't believe in financing nor leasing so I don't want to comment those and how costly that would be. Everytime there is somebody in between they take their share. It is either in interest rate, residual value or somewhere else. Save, buy, sell on your own. Avoid dealership as much as possible except when buying new (or having service).

I just cannot get this smile off my face :D My wife is telling me to relax but I just keep on smiling and making up reasons to go for a drive. :D

This is by far the best to drive of the cars I have ever had. It is even better than my previous E46.

Dude I do the same thing like volunteering to go to the store ext. one of the features that I really, really liked is the light that shines over the console amongst other things. I have never driven anything above 2.0 so when I got behind the wheel of my own 3.0 WOW :wow: . And yes the smiling goes on an on an on…………..
