X3 Brake job

My fiancee needs rear brakes on her 2007 X3. She's skeptical about going anywhre other than a dealer or a shop specializing in BMW. 2 questions. Whats the cost of a rear set of Rotor and Pad and is it straight forward enough that any reputable mechanic can handle it. I ask because my regular mechanic let's me get my own parts.

I just did my front rotors and pads myself. took about an hour.

i bought OEM jurid rear pads on ebay last night for US$36. Saw some OEM rear rotors for $130 or some other options for US$130-$165.

A skilled/reputable mechanic can handle X3 brakes. What he/she may not be aware of, and which you need to know if you are supplying the parts, is that there is a separate wear sensor that should be replaced along with the pads. It is a BMW part.

I just did my brakes last week on my 04 X-3. The car has 53,000. miles, the rear were almost ready and the rotors were in great shape. The fronts could have gone another 6-8,000. miles but did them anyway.
Living in Florida the components were quite clean, I took the opportunity to clean the caliper and suspension parts, repaint the rotor hubs and bleed the system.
This is my first brake job since my teens and quite honestly, I realy enjoyed the challenge.
I read a few chat posts and the job took an evening without a hitch.
