I did it joined because i bought the car like that too.Just talk to u salesman ask him about the trade in letter he knows what to do....later b0riqua

Me too.....I've had them sitting in my garage for 2 weeks now, but after seeing them installed, I think I'm going for it! :D

So you are retrofitting running boards? Are you planning on writing a DIY? That is the first thing on my 'to do' - list.

Unfortunately, it's too cold in my garage at this time of year :mad: , so I'm having the stealer do it next week. According to the instructions, it's a one hour installation, so I'm assuming it's relatively easy. Maybe I'll have the stealer take pics at each step in the process, if they're willing.

I got lucky. I ordered the vehicle with them on and it cost me $450.00 :D

That IS pretty cheap! You lucked out! I paid that much for the running boards uninstalled, and the stealer quoted me ~$120 just to install them.
