Need advise and help on Wheels/tires...
 

Hi everyone, I have a 2006 x3 M-sport package. Need new tires soon, I am planning to replace them all which gonna cost around $250 -$300each.. My current wheel look just like the picture below

But i found a good deal on X6 wheels going around $2000.. The owner bought the car and took them off. Its BMW X6 E71 19" Start Spoke 232... As far as i can pull some info from the seller, he claims its ET:48 and ET:18 and 9J x 19 ( Not sure what exactly it means).

Can someone help me to verifies wether this set of wheels fit my x3? or Do i need any spacer to fit it?

That's quite a lot of money for tires.

If those X6 wheels are oe, they have different front/back wheel bore sizes:
those rear wheels have the same bore as your X3...72.5mm.

However, those X6 front wheels have a 74mm wheel bore, (like all E70 X5 wheels), and thus the front wheel bore is 'too big'.
Some posters have reported that they got away with using hub centric rings for the larger bore wheels, but that is not my recommendation.

Your best bet is to find X3 or X5 E53 wheels you like, or replicas, if that's your direction.
