Transfer case problems

Hi, Ive tried to change oil and reset, but the transfer case still have a hick up. Please take a look at the video, and tell me if you have seen similar before, and is the only way to repair to change it with a new?

At 136,000 miles the TC case chain started slipping on my wife's 2004 2.5. That may be the case with your truck(no pun intended). I ended up replacing the TC and the rear driveshaft(bad u-joint) and all is back to normal.

Hi,

I have also recently changed my transfer case oil. How did you reset after you changed the oil?

Not sure but I think you have to go to the dealer to get it reset. I'm wondering myself though.

If anyone knows does the dealer charge to reset the computer?
