Power source for V1 in sunroof panel?????
 

Got my V1 hardwire installed as well as the remote in the ashtray. Question, where do I hook the hot wire into the wiring harness in the sunroof/light panel so it turns on and off with the ignition. Currently it is on all the time and I have to manually turn the V1 on and off. Seems like I read that you could hook it to the passenger seat belt warning light wire but I do not know which one that is.

in the sunroof panel there should be connector for the garage door opener that is ignition hot. find that wire on the connector and tap into it.

if you have the multimiter, you should be able to find the wire (the connector is usually a 3-pin connector)... if not, post what you found upto to that moment, and we look it up on the WDS...
