X1 does not have the scoop/intake above license plate. X3 does.
X3 wheel arches are perfect round, but X1's are not.
X3 roof is more sloping in back.

Why are their roadways so clean and nice when it snows?

Look so far in europe there is no direct information regarding the new X3, unfortunuatly! As i am waiting for the new model also. please see attached links for info about the X1.

^^Most media has been confused so far about the new X1 and X3 and always mixing them up. See comparo shots below and notice closely the front and front wheel arches & sloping roofline in side shot.

Well thats looks convinsing! THX very much for this information! Now wait and see how it will look like without the artistic covers. The X1 looks very great in "true"colours. I am already saving for the new X3 so I hope it will be worth it.

are there any informations, when the new x3 goes on sale, 2010 maybe????

Will the new X3 become more crossover like x1 or will it stay SUV like old x3?

I will be in the market for new X3, so i woukd be very happy if you can give me some answers.

Supposed to be spring 2010 around the same time as next gen 5-series.

It will be more like SUV and slightly bigger than current. Its has to compete with Audi Q5 and MB GLK.

New X3 coming in December.
