Think BMW really got it right this time with the X3 design. Last X3 was ok, but this one looks like it's gonna be a great seller. Definitely blow the GLK out of the water. |
Same taillight design as before with the sideways T.
The interior is great. I am interested to see the headlights, they have all been in camo and look like an Audi A3. |
how long you think until we'll see pics without camo?

So where do I sign up to be a test driver for the new models like that? I wouldn't mind getting paid to push the skinny pedal around the nurburgring and off road etc., even with the swirlygig paint style.

Love the picts! Now if BMWNA will only offer the ///M-Sport package with a 6-speed manual tranny I will be waiting in line in Spartanburg for one of the first ones to come off the line!!!
P.S. - BMWNA - Please put the cinnamon leather in the production cars, that leather is gorgeous!!!!!! |

BMW is also considering a rear wheel drive version. sDrive X3 instead of xDrive.

Just read the "First Drive" article posts and I am seriously hacked off, no manual transmission! 8-speed ZF tranny only for us yanks! That totally sucks! :-(

Well, yes it's quite a dilemma. There are no new choices out there, that's what pisses me off. So now I'm looking at a 2009 Cayenne GTS with 3,500 miles.

It's kinda funny. In Europe, almost everything is manual gearboxes except the big BMW's Mercedes and Audis. Also I was recently in Mexico City and rode in a full size Toyota van (I do mean full size, as big as a F350 econoline!) that had a manual tranny. The US market just does not see the volume necessary to bring sticks to the hicks.
