sorry about the blue. we will be 'updating' the look shortly. it was more important to get the board running. we will also be adding emoticons and stuff for you all to use.

if anybody has any access or links to emoticons/avatars or libraries of them accessible to them, please let me know.

I know nothing of the 'dealings' that people refer to, however the X5World site has been a source of information for me for some time so the addition of a forum to it makes perfect sense.

I run a UK car forum so I know how hard it is, good luck and I hope I can contribute to its success :)

I think so. It's the new GWIV engine, which has a built in HDTV tuner and supposedly better black levels. I couldn't beat the price at $2,629. I love my 42", but my new family room is just too big for it.

Yeah, the black levels on mine are not great. I think those Samsung DLPs are better for that.

Why thanks. I had to whip one up this morning when I joined. Never got around to doing it on the other board so I thought I would start off better over here. If you ever need to use it let me know and I'll make a higher resolution version. Nice to see the day 1 traffic so high. ;)

Even though I'm not officially an X5 guy anymore, I enjoy reading what you guys have to say.

That other deal was out of hand. Towards the end, I probably provoked a little of it over there, but I wanted to raise some points.

Thanks Jeff, I'm doing great. I just have been very busy working on my house. I just extended a metal roof over 1200 sq. ft of my porch and poured about 50ft of driveway.

If you ever make it back this way let me know.
