Aftermarket Sway Bars
I searched a bit and couldn't find much information. As we all know getting straight answers about fitment/etc from vendors on e53 chassis is difficult because few people actually know anything but I was curious if anyone here is running eibach or H&R sways and knows of a place to get them.
I'm slowly accumulating parts to overhaul the entire suspension on my X and will probably do sways if you fine gents can assist me in finding them reasonably priced. The car has 65k now and it drives fine but after being on my second 4.8iS I have come to the conclusion that I absolutely despise the way air rides. I am ordering fully adjustable BC's in the next week or two and will be installing those as well as replacing all of the front and rear control arms, ball joints, subframe bushings, diff bushings, tcase bushings, motor mounts, trans mounts, and lateral links. Since I typically try to make my threads somewhat useful I will update this one with my opinion on how the coils ride and with pictures after the installation. In the meantime if anyone can assist with pointing me in the right direction for the sway bars and share any personal experiences they have with installation - I'd appreciate it. -Olek |
Whiteline makes a nice pair and ECS sells them. I'm not sure if the Eibach's are still readily available.
EDIT: ECS sells Whiteline as a pair, Eibach is only available for the rear. |
You can get the eibach rear from tirerack.com
