Key Fob programming
 

So I programmed my second key and it worked fine except now the original key doesn't work. When I reprogram the original again, the second key doesn't work? Any ideas please?

It sounds like you're either NOT programming both remotes in the same session...or you need to stop inserting the 2nd remote key into the ignition.. Not sure what instructions you're following...but STEP 6 says start programng additional remotes within 30 seconds of the 1st key being programmed...and start on STEP 3 (where you start pressing the buttons). Step 3 says nothing about insertingthe key into the ignition (that's STEP #2)...the ignition is already off after initializing the first key...so in STEP 3....you just start pressing the buttons. :D

Everytime you insert a remote into the ignition and perform STEPS 1-2 you are initiating a new programming session thus telling the GM to drop any remote key from its memory prior to the key you just inserted, and the GM creates a new rolling code table.
