frozen door
 

i just want to know if anyone is having this same problem when the wheather gets cold there door gets frozen....for the last two days i have to go thru the back door to get into the car and it only be the driver and the passanger sides and that aint cool. :tsk: i know people are looking at me laughing seeing me hoping in a bmw thru the back and crawling to the front..anyone has any solution for this ?????

Have you washed it recently? It's pretty common for the door seals to freeze when you do, but once you push the door open from the inside, that should take care of it. The problem could also be water getting into the door and freezing up the lock mechanism. In either case, you should park it indoors for a few hours somewhere where it's heated and allow the moisture to evaporate, then you'll be fine. Our garage slab is heated, so it's perfect for preventing any icing problems during the winter.

Your lock actuators maybe going bad. Also try unlocking using the key in the door instead of the remote!!
