Are the any companies that make a bluetooth module that is compatible with DSP????
I wanna use the steering wheel buttons to answer calls and stream calls.

To answer your question perhaps a bit more information about your vehicle is in order. Year, make, model, production date ect. All E53s are not the same. :dunno:

I have a grom audio Bluetooth in my e38 with dsp it works very will does phone calls and streams music. I got the cheaper one with out the iPod as I just use Bluetooth I even ran the mic all the way up front and put in behind the stock mic grill so it looks oem

I have a grom with bluetooth, usb and Eye Pod. However he's looking for one that integrates into the steering wheel control for the phone. My Grom is only integrated with the steering wheels for tracks and volume.

Grom has steering controls for phone , Track up answers the phone track down ends

buy an oem Bluetooth module from a x3
my x5 is mid 2004 built and has the steering wheel button and the old style Bluetooth module

I bought one from ebay from a x3 and it was plug and play

You won't be able to stream music with the OEM Bluetooth. This is a 10-year-old version of Bluetooth which I don't believe ever supported streaming music - it wasn't in the Bluetooth spec at the time.

You can get what you want with a Audiovox Mediabridge. You will have bluetooth, USB, AUX and Sirius radio if you purchase the module. Not a difficult install and Dice will help you if you get stuck. You will lose your CD player. I have had a mediabridge for a very long time. Works great and everything is controlled with existing buttons.

so i looked and i have everything there for bluetooth with the exception of the armrest module. which is like 200 $ now! seems like aftermarket is gonna be the way i go.
wonder if i can sell my antnne, ulf module and mics to fund this project???
