Check brake linings
Here's a good one- my brake light went off after I changed tear rotors pads and new sensor. Then I noticed its back on again.
Very frustrating! Any thoughts? Connection was good and I heard the click at the junction box. Thx guys.. |
Quick test. Just open up the wheel well connector box, disconnect and jump the wire from the harness.
Light stay off? If yes the issue is the connector/sensor to the caliper. Light comes back on? The issue is further up stream (closer to the computer) I would recommend double checking the harness where it was pulled apart. As that is usually where the stress was on the wires. Could be pulled apart within the loom. This circuit is only an open or closed loop. A broken wire/disconnected/shorted will produce a fault code (Light on) |
