2004 X5 E53 Auxiliary Fan Replacement

First off, thanks to everyone on the XOutpost Forum for contributing knowledge/details for the many DYIs I’ve utilized. I’ve done everything from changing spark plugs to replacing the blower fan (total bee-otch) and without the community, all would have been more difficult if not impossible for me…and I’m a DYI-kind of guy!!.

I've attached a detailed .pdf (2 separate files because of size)....and I'll post all details and picts in a separate post but need to reduce size of picts for posting....

thanks to all posters!!!

Thank you. I read others just getting it out through the bottom without having to remove the bumper.

Happy to help! Yes those are exactly the classic symptoms of a bad aux fan.
