Odd issue with drivers side low beam.
 

Hey all. I am hoping someone here can shed some light on a problem that has recently developed on my X5. So I have bi-xenon AHLs. A few weeks back, my drivers side low beam went out. I noticed this by the fogs turning on automatically. I got no errors on the dash. I replaced my bulbs on both sides just for kicks. No luck. While I had the LH assembly out, I noticed that the ballast and am looked odd. Upon further inspection, I found they both had water in them. So I ordered, an ignitor, ballast, and clean and verified the am functions. Buttoned everything up, no dice. So I get out DIS and SSS. DIS just seems to see an issue with the left low beam. Progman shows the same thing. Funny thing is, I can turn the bulb on in DIS and I can perform all function checks that control the movement of the lamp. I'm confused. Anyone ever have this happen? Could a faulty asm cause the bulb not to ignight??? I heard elsewhere to try disconnecting my battery and trying it after reconnecting it. I hope it's not the ASM module. Not only is it expensive, it has to be coded to the vehicle and while I can probably figure out how to do that, I've never retrofitted a module and coded it to my vehicle. Any ideas?? Someone had this issue recently. IIRC they reset the LCM by either unplugging it and leaving it disconnected (alternatively you could do the same with the fuse that controls it), see it that works

Sorry to hijack, but is there a way to manually adjust low beam level? I'd like to raise mine a bit...

Yes there are white adjusters on top of the headlights, use an allen key
