2001 x5 4.4i
 

I think that I'm going to buy this 2001 X5. The transmission, cooling system, and other misc parts have been replaced except the chain guides. It has 184500 miles on it and the guy is asking $4900. It's in nice shape for age and mileage. Should I go for it?

It won't be the same as your old 4.6iS though :)

Check it out. The mileage is a little high but it depends on the maintenance. Suspension refresh?

haha I know. This car is going to be used as my daily driver however and for ski trips to Tahoe. He has not done anything to the suspension but claims its very tight with no noises. nI feel like I can offer him $4300 the way it sits with the work and condition. Last winter the M5 got stuck on barely a dusting of snow so that is staying in the garage and I cant bring myself to put pointless miles on it going to work/school and back everyday.
