I did a little searching and looked in my bently manual but was unable to come up with what this connector is.

It is located on the passenger side right in front of the wheel. in the picture you can see it because the bumper is removed. (i was fixing broken mesh in the front bumper)

Do you have park sensors on the front? If not, this might be that connector. Not sure what model you have, but I believe the 2004-2006 came pre-wired for all the options.

i should have mentioned that yes, i do have parking sensors but its not that connector. the parking sensor connector has many many pins

You need to provide more information. Easiest is to put your vehicle information (year, model) in your signature line.

Headlight washer pump.

Could also be the pump for the rear windscreen.

Are you getting any errors about Washer Fluid?

I've the front bumper cover off mine right now. Don't see anything like that. What colors are the wires? The parking sensors use three small pins in a triangle configuration - not what you posted. The secondary air pump uses two fat round pins.

the wire colors are brown, red with white stripe, and purple with grey stripe.

it's not the temp sensor, nor the washer fluid connectors. as far as i know everything is working fine. can it be a harness from a v8 model that has air suspension or something? maybe its a connector for a level sensor?
