I don't know how the 4.4 drives at that speed. As for the 4.6, I never got a chance to really time it since I really had to focus on driving and ignoring her screaming. Didn't help she kept slapping my arm blabbling.... "stop" or "slow down".... :dunno:

truth be told, doing 100 - 110 is pretty normal for some though I cannot confirm or deny I do such "atrocious" acts on the clear straight open highways here in Houston. Just sayin', it is possible. ;)

I break a 100 almost on a daily:)

BUT, truth be told, it's not me:). It's the freakin car man.....

No kidding. I feel every dried leaf on the ground this time of year. The county roads I like to drive are in horrible shape so I unfortunately find myself taking the freeway more than I'd like. 😐

Looks like ill do springs when I do all my suspension bushings too then.

BTW, I've had my E70 up to around 105-110, but out of both my e53s (a 4.4 and a 3.0) the fastest I did was about 85 and that was in the 3.0. Speed limiter doesn't matter to me much.

If i floor my 4.4i (N62 engine) for a minute, starting at 125mph, i will be max'ed out (limited) at 150mph for the last 30 seconds of that run.
..Or so does very consistent rumours say. :D

Does those few extra horsies in the N62 really make that much of a difference?
