Just installed new set of Michelin demaris.

Go to TireRack.com
Select Vehicle
Select what you looking for "All Season" "All Season Performance" etc

My personal selection would be the CONTINENTAL 4X4 CONTACT
or the MICHELIN LATITUDE TOUR HP.

I have the Michelin on my 4.8is and they are great.

Costco has them also.....

I've been running Yokohama YK520s and now YK580s from Discount Tires for 200,000 miles. Outstanding wet road traction, especially for braking, and pretty good traction when we've had snow/ice situations here in Dallas.

I usually average 35-38,000 miles on a set, although my current ones look like they'll go at least 45,000 miles after using RickyBobby's alignment spec recommendations.

2002 X5 3.0 288,500 miles
2004 325i 123,000 miles

Tire rack doesn't offer the DWS in 235/65 17, can I cheat the size a little?

TiAgX5 10-02-2015 11:37 PM

A 245/65 17 would have a few fewer revs per mile, less speedo error too.

When it's 1/2 worn out, it would be the diameter of a new 235/65 17.
