Ceramic vs semi metallic pads thoughts

Ceramics have all the good characteristics of semi metallic and none of the bad, like poor cold stopping power (1-3 stops), hot to cool transitions and back again.

I ran semi metallic pads for years and it was like dragging my foot out the door on stone cold 1st stops. They took 3 normal stops to get up to operating temps.

There are some good posting out there on the pros and cons of these materials. Just do a little research.

The calipers on the 4.8 are by ATE. All these parts are available. DO NOT buy them from the dealer as they are the same part at 2x-3x the cost. (As I did).

Clarification: Rear bushing are available from everyone, the dealer is the only source for the fronts that I could find today online.
