They both look good. Almost thought that you have the M5-swap Touring.

Naw, not a swap. There's a story behind the car but nothing as fun as a full swap. Much appreciated.

Ah, driver feedback. Try the m235i with all the assisted driving options off... So fun. It's the one exception IMHO.
I hear ya. I like the mechanical feel of this generation of bmw. I'm sure when I get older I'll enjoy the utter distance from what I'm doing at the wheel but for now, I love the Symphony you can hear, feel and be part of with these.

Love the naturally aspirated engine noise that comes out of the exhaust; both the 4.6is and the 4.8is.

HA!! Nice to see you on this side man!! I'm guessing you decided against stealing the wife's motor for the shaggin wagin? I'll have to look up what are the quick release springs for the rear hatch, I've not heard of that addition/mod. I also need to do the backup camera. The wife drives the X that I got for her, and misses the backup camera that came with her Murano. Not sure if I mentioned on the other forum, I've got a 540it as well. 2000 Titanium Silver m-sport with dinan software. I really need to call Dinan to see what the hell they put in the thing tbh.

Really? I'll grant the 4.8is has a great note on acceleration and cold startup but I think the sound out of this 4.6is is... Laughable? I've been in tunnels and stomped on it and nothing. It moves out and the engine itself sounds aggressive but I don't get
anything from the back end worth noting.
I'm used to this:https://youtu.be/YGxF_sH_Xrg

Or,

Small world! I just can't afford both the s/c and the swap. God knows I wish I could swing it. I'd rather do that than go for an m5 engine. Trust ne, if that magic tree falls, it's on!
The springs for the hatch are off ebay, easy installation and they work great. Touch the dash or fob button and boom, open hatch!
The rear view camera needs the tv module from EU market ($170 or so) I'm excited about that. I'll put one on the wagon when I paint/install the rear spoiler. I'll put it in the spoiler. http://www.bimmernav.com/BMW_TV_Navg...s.htmlSwaggons and Xer's. Perfect combo of urban rides.

I barely get to drive the X tbh. The wagon even less.:( I beat the living snot out of the e34 lol. Sadly, chain guides went in my 7 last week, so she's in the shop (known as a buddy's house) for repair.

I'm going to copy that rear hatch setup. I like that idea. I was wondering why the truck did not have it to begin with.

Springs on eBay # 311477419067
One suggestion I'd make if installing, find 4 plastic or hard rubber washers to put on the ends of the springs. When the hatch opens the springs bounce a little on the strut posts making a tinny noise.
