Christmas Wreath on car?

Do any of you mount a wreath to the grille of your car for the holidays? Is it tacky to do this? Just want to get a general opinion of doing this.

Are you doing this for your kids or something? It doesn't improve fuel economy, doesn't make the X handle/perform better, doesn't make the vehicle look any more attractive then it already is, so I am not sure why would you put a wreath on the front of the X. Just don't do it Christmas decorations belong on the house/home.

benfbuilder 12-10-2015 11:43 AM

No particular reason for wanting to do it other than being sort of festive. I could give less of a shit about fuel economy and as for the loss of handling/performance, I suspect it would be negligible. Just wanted to see how mamy other. people do it.

I'm not rabid with "Put Christ back in Christmas" or anything, nor do I go nuts with the whole anti-PC say Merry Christmas vs Happy Holidays.

Christmas to me is a happy and festive time of year. Perhaps it's nostalgia. I don't see anything wrong with adorning the X with a wreath. To each their own, but personally when I see a car or truck with a wreath, I'll smile wide.

I agree with TECN1K on this one.

You can always put a bow on top and park it in the driveway Christmas morning.

It's your car, do what you want. It's not like it is permanent or anything. Yeah it looks silly but who cares really.

I vote "DO IT"

I am adding one to my Minivan as we go out at night and do tacky Light tours one or two nights each week.
For those in the Wash DC area see Holly's tacky light tour website: http://www.fairfaxchristmaslights.com/:mantis:
It is only for Yucks and Grins and it is not like it is WELDED to the grill.
