$17 LED halos for those wanting to upgrade (pics)

Posting this for anyone here who wants to upgrade their stock angel eyes to white led's.

I originally ran a dark orange color however one went out on me a few weeks ago. Decided to find some cheap white ones to run now instead of my stock halogen bulbs.

Have to say for 17 bucks I think they look great, got them off ebay- no association heres the link http://m.ebay.com/itm/321253403902?_mwBanner=1

Looks great. Can't wait til I have some time to crack open my permaseals.

Those look great - and goes to show the prices have seriously come down, people used to pay $150 for these, now I just tell the facelift guys to buy the $20-40 sets on ebay.

Did you turn cold check off? I noticed that mine flicker left, right, left, right for about 2 seconds when I start the car... If I have lights on auto, there's no problem. If light switch is off, then the flickering happens and occasionally I get the 'check parking lights' message on the dash.
Apart from the above - I love the look of the bright LED halo rings over the older amber ones.

I think I got the same one.

Kvc, by default at least on 06 4.8is from ones ive coded and my own, the cold check is only enabled on the left headlight (driverside) and when i first had my other dark orange ones the left would flicker upon starting about 3 times. Ive since coded that off along with amber sidemarkers.

I cant comment on having the switch on auto, I never have mine on auto.

Okay - thanks for that info. Next time I plug the scanner in, I'll look at options to code it off (cold check if available). Not that it bothers me that much, but I've heard that it may reduce the life-span of the LED's.
