VANOS duty cycle
 
Does anyone know how to interpret the "duty cycle" reading for a vanos system? I am chasing issues with bank 2 ticking noises. My scanner says that both my vanos solenoids are at 94% duty cycle. The number does not change with engine speed or load. Any thoughts? Thanks
