Self levelling suspension light

I have 2005 X5 3.0 Sport with air suspension in the rear. I recently had problems with ride height where car would start to sag lower in the rear. Self levelling suspension inactive light was on and would stay on Regular mechanic couldn't figure out so went to another shop where it was determined both ride height sensors needed to be replaced. They were replaced and everything reset and light was off but to me the truck felt boucey in the rear. I could feel every little bump. Took it to my regular mechanic to put snows on and had him text drive. He determined that left rear was about half an inch lower so he used his scanner to raise. Now self levelling suspension inactive light is back on and his scanner cannot find any fault codes after resetting everything but light will not go off.

I don't want to go to the shop that fixed the sensors yet because they are expensive. Hoping for some suggestions. Ride height seems fine but still boucey.

I had a look at this car today. It was as described - self level warning on, no codes and rear was bouncy. Turns out the car had been put in "Line Mode". It was referred to as "Mode, end of line" in another section of the GT1. I suspect this is the mode it goes in when it comes off the assembly line. There was another mode called "Transport". Transport Mode was off and Line Mode was on. I deactivated Line Mode (it was called yet another thing in the deactivate menu), the error message went away and the truck drives like it should.

So, if SLSI error message is on, no codes, no sagging suspension and the truck rides bouncy, check if it has accidentally been put in Line Mode.
