Anyone dealt with Bimmeronly in CA??
I am new to the forum and definitely not trying to start any trouble, especially if this is a respectable business, or even a vendor.
Anyway, I sent my cluster and MID to them to be repaired, they advertise same day turnaround service. I sent off the parts and UPS shows they received it on the 28th of Dec. Their website says they will call prior to shipping back. I called on the 30th, they said it would ship tomorrow....the 31st came, no call, no tracking number, I called again and they said they ran out of light bulbs but that they would ship it would ship it later that today.... I waited til Monday the 4th and called again, they said the guy who fixes them is gone, but they promised to ship it tomorrow....still nothing on Tuesday, still nothing, I call again, they said they would ship it that day. Wednesday (today) arrives, I call and they said it was shipped, they sent me a dead tracking number dated December 31. The number is a pre-shipment notice and nothing has been received by USPS. Getting very frustrated, paid almost 500.00 for the repairs (and some upgrades), now I am closing in on logging 120 miles without the dash, which is when the odometer tamper light comes on.... Any advice? Anyone deal with these guys before? I am gone for a few days next week, if I haven't received anything by then, I plan on flying out there and camping at their office (hopefully it isn't a house) until I get my money and items back. So frustrating :angryfire:angryfire |
I think some have used them here with good results. I used a local guy on ebay "bavarianaudio" who was in NJ and I knew the turnaround would be fast.
However, I remember their ebay listings and it didn't turn me on, $500 for Cluster and MID is re-fuckin-diculous btw. I paid $120 for my cluster, I think the MID is $100, if you add gauge faces, rings, and colored needles it shouldn't add more than $100 to your cluster repair. |
I would have to check the receipt I think it was closer to 400....like 380 or something. Got new gauges, needles, bulbs, fixes of pixels and chrome rings) still pricey, I know.
On a good note, the tracking number update!!! |

I used them, too. Their eBay price was cheap when they did my cluster repair ~2013. Work was solid. Not great communication; felt like a number in a queue.
That said, They discovered the the LEDs for the trifecta lights on my cluster had been removed and were able to solder replacements on for just a little extra money over the normal charge. |
Received today, worth the wait!
