PA Soft Module Errors & Coding Q's - Thermal Oil Level Sensor
Dug into PA Soft to kill my reverse light check and double time my flashers - and after a scan found a bazillion errors, most of which cleared. Just wondering about the oil level sensor. Do I have it, did the previous guy code it out when it went bad? Nice feature to have, so if it needs to be replaced, i'll do it and code it back in, since it appears to have been coded out.
Someone knowledgeable and has done this a bunch of times, if you could take a look at what i've found as far as persistent errors - i'd appreciate it tons! http://i.imgur.com/7gPUqMk.png http://i.imgur.com/oRdmzPW.png http://i.imgur.com/oRdmzPW.png http://i.imgur.com/ZyuVkLj.png |
The oil level sensor has been known to thrown false errors when it goes bad, the guy prob just coded it out because he maintained it very regularly (Bav Otto right?) - Also, undervoltage code? Did he do the alternator ever?

Yup, it's Otto's old X. I'll shoot him an email, and pick up a new part for the hell of it.
Had some O2 codes also - wondering if it's worth replacing them all - never a CEL http://i.imgur.com/rGPg181.png |
If you're not throwing CEL I wouldn't sweat it

Know where I can find the "1 key fob push all doors unlock" magic?

^Should be in the General Module I believe

If you have that feature initiated now...then you'd probably need to "UNCHECK" the boxes under selective central locking. I'm just making an assumption...I don't have this software...so hopefully someone that knows this software will chime in and verify for sure. I'm taking my assumption from the info below..see the section on "selective central locking"...and note that the default is that this feature is active: |
