Enlighten me please

My dos,e lighters do not shutoff when I park the car. Unlocked. If I reach in the widow I can shut them off with the switch by the mirror. Works great when I'm parking it in my garage. Didn't try to lock it and see if that would do,it. Any help would be appreciated.

On a timer. They shut off when you lock the door or after some time.
