Enlighten me please
 

My dome lights will not shutoff when I park the car. Unlocked. If I reach in the window I can shut them off with the switch by the mirror. Works great when I'm parking it in my garage. Didn't try to lock it and see if that would do,it. Any help would be appreciated.

There's your problem, they don't fade. The fade module is probably broken.

Did you just make that up? Just kidding, is it near the carburetor belt module?

Nope. If you think the LCM is near the carburetor belt module I would suggest you take the car in to have it fix.

Perhaps he had a short in the module and he can get a bottle of Lucas smoke to put back in the module/wires.
